A New Dining Destination: Good Times Meet Rural Contemporary
Some foods were made for each other-peaches and cream, proscuitto and canteloupe, strawberries and balsamic vinegar: they’re a natural fit–surprising and mouthwatering. Now, come mid-October Victorians will be getting the best of both worlds when the 10 Acres Kitchen and the Commons restaurants combineunder the one banner of The Commons.
The Commons has long had a reputation as the go-to venue for sociable dining, memorable happy hours, late-night get togethers and the buzz of something always happening. Now, with the integration of the Kitchen, The Commons will broaden its menu portfolio to deliver cuisine that truly celebrates the Pacific West Coast with sustainable seafood, house-made pasta, local meats and organic produce from our farm on the Saanich peninsula. Guests will be still be able to enjoy favourites like half-priced oysters and the exuberance of The Commons cocktail mixologists (who brought you the Tilted Farmer, Her Majesty’s Libation and Some Like it Hot) combined with a refined, carefully-chosen wine list that matches the cuisine.
Underpinning all this is a passion for our roots–organically grown produce from our 10 Acre farm, a desireto use the freshest and best of the season and to support our local fishermen, producers and growers.
